This list is for people involved in Zope development. Zope is a free, open source web application platform used for building high-performance, dynamic web sites. The list is for discussion about Zope's internal mechanisms and principles of operation. Note that the list accepts postings only from subscriber addresses (or at least, postings attributed to subscriber addresses - eg, in the "Reply-to" header). This is necessary to stem redistribution of spam and virus spew that otherwise inundates us. For announcements about important Zope events, see Zope-Announce - you probably want to subscribe to that, as well. Questions and general discussions about Zope's daily operation and features should be directed to the companion list, Zope. To post a message to all the list members, send email to zope-dev@zope.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Zope-Dev
Subscribe to Zope-Dev by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
