I don't have a problem with removing dups, but I have a big problem  
with sorting, as the distributions will be sorted on the basis of path  
name which is rather non-deterministic.  In fact, your changes cause  
the tests to fail for me.

Please be more specific.  What problem? Is it caused by dups? or by  
order?

I'm going to revert this change.  I'll be happy to discuss the WingIDE  
issue.
