Thanks, everyone!!<br>Mohd. Izhar, I eventually got it working with virtualenv.<br>But only after some struggle.<br>I think I had messed up with the environment.<br><br>Eventually I created a new user account on the system and it worked.<br>

Looks indeed like a Fedora-zc.buildout-distutils-setuptools-specific<br>
