Hans and Tres, This list is just for the six community reviewers, our editors, and Amos and I, it is not for public consumption. I'm very excited about this opportunity to publish such a great book as well as the chance to work with each of you. Michel filled me in a little bit on what's been happening to date. I'm in need of some help with the editing of this book and Michel suggested I follow up with you to see if you'd be interested. What I need are 2 technical reviewers who would be responsible for a line by line technical read of the book. These 2 people would work closely with the development editor on the book (who's name is Chris by the way) by marking places in the manuscript that may need the technical information reworked. If you're interested, please let me know a number I can reach you at to tell you more about this and we'll get you signed up. This is a paying position. :) I also need market reviewers. I'll need 5-6 of these so I may need to even go outside this list to get a few more. If you have any suggestions as to who else might be interested, let me know. ANyway... I'll be asking these people to review the final book and provide a paragraph testimonial on the book. These will then be used in the inside front cover of the book so that potential readers can see what sort of comments are said about the book. Typically we don't pay for this work but I realize you were originally offered a $250 honorarium, so I will honor that. If you're interested in either of these roles, drop me an email and let's talk about them further. Looking forward to hearing from everyone.
