I will investigate immediately, just wanted to file this ASAP:

As of 2.6.1 (possibly 2.6.0, haven't tested), 
lib/python/ZODB/fsrecover.py produces a nearly empty output file no matter what options I give.
Also the output shows many errors like

__main__.ErrorFound: invalid status, ^@, at 58474904

and

exeptions.TypeError: __init__() takes exactly 10 arguments (8 given)

Others have reported same behavior on zope@zope.org and zodb-dev@zope.org.
