To support various language and encoding, I proposed that the following should be added to Zope and all products dtml:

<meta http-equiv="Content-type" content="text/html; charset=<dtml-var ZopeSite_encoding missing="utf-8">">

The following is very profitable if make into zope default installation and all products (as meta or cookie):

ZopeSite_lang  the lang string for default language
ZopeSite_css   the default css 
ZopeSite_copyright  the site copyright statement
ZopeSite_privacystmts
ZopeSite_webmaster
ZopeSite_author
ZopeSite_title  the collective title for the site
ZopeSite_expire today - this = expire date
ZopeSite_rating the content rating "Safe For Kids" as default
ZopeSite_replyto 
ZopeSite_keywords
