Folks,
the Zope Book states under 'Defining a User's Location':

"Zope can contain multiple user folders at different locations in the object database hierarchy. A Zope user cannot access protected resources above the user folder in which their account is defined."

This would mean, users generally can only access the content of the user folder itself - i.e. the users. It should read:
"...  A Zope user cannot access protected resources above the folder in which the user folder was created that is holding the user's account definition."

Still learning - the zope book is well done!
