I see INSATALL.txt for Zope 2.7.2 that Python 2.3.3 is said to be required.  Yet if you run 'configure' w/ Python 2.3.2 is prints a message saying Python 2.3.2 is acceptable but not optimal; in my case the zope instance does not run after you create one.

It would be a good idea to decide if it's required or optional. Personally I think its required and the configure script should reflect this.
