have a hosts file. A simple entry of</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">localhost 127.0.0.1</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">solved the problem. I guess that
in lieu of the hosts file it was guessing my host based on DHCP settings.
That's what lead it to Comcast's servers. What is interesting
is that none of the other web servers that I've run on my machine (Apache,
IIS) had this problem. In any event, problem solved.</font>
