I am well aware of the first two, but I haven't investigated the third.

What z3c.resourceinclude is all about, and which I have an
implementation sketch for, is *merging* resources of similar kinds
based on some grouping notion. Currently, that notion is whether
they're included for the same (marker-)layer.

It's very tricky to understand what these resource libraries offer and
what their limitations are; when I wanted to add merging-support to
zc.resourcelibrary I found that the architecture of the package simply
wasn't cut out for it.
