+1

But let's not forget, the offer is generous. Thanks to Gary and the
folks at Canonical for extending it.

As an alternative, I would like to provide some information on the
plans the Foundation has for repository hosting. Currently, the
repositories are hosted on a server managed (mostly) by Zope
Corporation admins, who have done a great job even when disaster
struck (disk crashes etc), so I'm not sure we would gain a better
quality of service by moving elsewhere. Secondly, and I hope Rob won't
hit me when he gets back from his travels, Zope Corporation has been
building a new fully redundant hosting infrastructure for their code
repositories, and Rob has told the board they would like to move the
foundation repositories into this new infrastructure. In essence, we'd
retain the same SVN setup, but hosted even better. To me, that sounds
like the better option at this point.
