There is one bit of particularly bad practice in the code that I am  
aware of: grokstar/__init__.py monkeypatches View and Viewlet to add  
an `application` property to those classes, which I have used quite  
heavily. I haven't managed to fix this since I'm not what the correct  
solution would be.
