We should get someone to drive this effort. I'm a bad person for this
right now, as I haven't needed out of the box ZODB-backed user and group
management yet in my projects. When I needed it last it needed to be
RDB-backed, for instance.
To drive this effort, you probably have to write either a very good
specification, or much the code, or both, and then come back here enough
to get people to try it out and help improve it.
