I'm running on Mac OS X and installed texlive to get the PDF building,  
but I get a whole bunch of output and a messed up looking PDF at the  
end of the process. I think this is an issue with fonts - but I don't  
really know anything about the latex tool chain though ... Maybe it  
would be easier to satisfy the PDF generation dependencies on linux?  
Perhaps we could generate these on the grok server?
