[Grok-dev] dependencies missing needed for Grok 1.1 backwards compatibility

Just want to politely disagree about this statement. Nobody chooses to  
use Grok if they are lazy in this sense... There is a fine line  
between backwards compatibility and backwards burden. But it isn't  
black and white.

Just a thought here.

Maybe the backward compatibility layer could be the upgrade notes?  
I.e. the documentation is in the code... Then it is easy to add  
logging warnings in that code and upgrading would in most cases be  
just running the upgraded app and then going through the warnings.
