Hi !

> Splitting up was the whole idea with the new ZDP. In the projects
> directory, we make a directory per project. At this moment we've : ZBook,
> ZIT, ZQR, ZTutorials.

What we need now is a special Project Folder ZClass, which has all the
projects inside. Then there has to be a Project ZClass which contains
the following Folders:

Comment Folder
Draft Submission Folder
News Folder
FAQ Folder
HOWTO Folder
WebSiteLinkFolder

These Folders will be displayed in the form of a Tab on the Project
page:

[Comments][Drafts][News][FAQs][HOWTOs][Links]

Every project, like all DocumentFolders in general, have a Maintainer.

Up to now, we only have Managers. We need to create a new role Member,
which has somewhat restricted rights. Then we may have to give these
Members some local roles on subfolders. I have not been thinking much
about these issues and would like to put this problem aside for the moment.
In my implementation I am just going check whether a person has a certain
necessary role.

I hesitate to implement the FAQ and How-to using ZClasses, because there
are too many ZClasses which would have to be produced, so things get
complex very soon. Another problem is that we need to convert the documents
into XML to convert them into other formats.
So, I thought of directly using XML, but you can not put a Comment Folder
inside an XML document for example, so we would lose some flexibility.

OK, I will implement the Draft Folder, Draft, Project Folder and Project
now. The ZDP/projects folder will become a Project Folder, and all the
folders inside will be Project Folders. Then I will add a Draft Folder
to all the projects, where people can create their Drafts. The Comments
Folder and Comment will have to wait till tomorrow.

If someone would like to take over a part of the ZDP-Tools, then they will
be provided with special How-Tos which I have created:

News Folder How-To
News Item How-To
FAQ Folder How-To
FAQ Entry Folder How-To
FAQ Question How-To
FAQ Answer How-To
HOWTO Folder How-To
HOWTO How-To

Any volunteers ?

I hope to have something ready in a few hours.

Greetings,

Maik
