Ok, i agree with this idea. I already have the same idea, and others too.  
But, becouse the security is a potential problem, scalable solutions for me 
is a operational problem. In the HUBs (NTEs in order of the project) we don't 
have profissionals with knowledge about firewalls and manage it remotely is 
very hard. Because of that, on the version 1 of the project, we are plan to 
install only one ZEO Storage Server, behind a firewall.

I'm discussing about these problems at some time with the technical team of 
PROCERGS, and where, with the help of the list members, I'm collect more 
"mind views".

To solve the problem, I'm think in implement secutity authentication services 
for ZEO. But, for that i will need help. Does anybody can help me with the 
implementation ??? With this resource, logicaly I will restructure the 
network topology in levels and my application too (but, this is not the real 
problem). Without authentication, a multilevel arquiteture is very dificult 
to administrate.
