[ZODB-Dev] Same ZEO ver; different Zope on Client/ZSS?

I'm currently trying to deploy an app on a ZEO cluster running Zope 2.3.2. I
want to run 2.4 on my ZSS: 
1 - I want to be able to use bsddb3 storage eventually, which AFAIK, really
requires Python 2
2 - I need to be able to pack my main FileStorage from a ZEO Client without
killing the cluster

I know this is sort of a dumb question, but can I use the Zope 2.4 code as
the base for my ZSS using ZEO1.0b3 and use Zope 2.3.2 or 2.3.3 on my ZEO
Clients as long as the ZEO versions match up?
