Hurm... this may sound glib, but I wish the storage could behave like Berkley
tables in MySQL. We haven't  had to worry about managament of log files, even
though the tables are fully transactional.

MySQL is open source, I wonder how much of a pain it'd be to extract whatever
code they have for managing log files.

Mindyou, maybe I'm just imagining things :-S
