<P>I dont know which version of zope you are using but:</P>
<P>- check if you have in Zope-2.4.0-src/ZServer/medusa the file asyncore.py instead of the file asyncore.py.old, if yes then you have a problem if your python installation isn't correct (check PYTHONHOME vars, etc).</P>
<P>-if you are using a source release check to see if you are using the zope 2.4.0 + python 2.1 setup.</P>
<P>If you describe your setup will be better for anyone to help you (zope, python and OS versions).</P>
