Or, more specifically, it's ZODB4, which is being developed to support
Zope3.  There is pre-alpha code available from cvs.zope.org in either
of the Zope3 or ZODB4 modules.  I expect we'll do a first alpha
release at the same time as the Zope3 alpha release (by the end of the
year).

I plan to post a more detailed project plan next week.
