I haven't actually tested ZEO 2.0.2 with earlier versions of Zope.  I
expect ZEO 2.0.2 would work with ZOpe 2.5, but would need to test it.

ZODB 3.1.1 and Zope 2.6.1 have identical copies of all shared code, so
there would be no problem just copying ZEO into a Zope 2.6.1 install.

Zope 2.7 is going to include ZEO, so there should not be future install
problems.
