[ZODB-Dev] which is the current conservative version of ZODB?

So if I was looking to upgrade a Zope 2.x system or three to a 
more modern ZODB, which version would be the one to pick right now?
It seems like there's a number of different releases, and it's hard
to get clear which ones have bugfixes applied, and which ones don't.
