You didn't say which version of Zope you're using.  ConnectionStateError
doesn't exist in any released version of Zope 2, so you're either using Zope
2 from recent CVS, or a Zope X3 beta release.  In either case, read the NEWS
for ZODB 3.2.4c1 (released today):
