Well, I won't make any Plohn comments ;-)
...but it look like some kind of binary file object. How big a file is 
being uploaded?

Think about it, if someone uploads some mamoth 200GB file, sure, you'll 
see CPU usage go up, and probably for quite a long time!

Not really sure this is the right list... a list for PloneExFile, a 
general Plone list or zope at zope.org would be the lists I'd try, in order 
of preference.
