Two thoughts:

1. The ZODB as a project probably needs someone who fulfills a
    multiplier role like Martijn Faassen does in many instances.

2. There seems to be the (hidden) assumption around that Jim should be
    doing that.

I think this causes a good amount of the tension in here.
