[Zope-PTK] FYI: Sad news for PTK

Totally agree :-) The PTK has come in huge leaps and bounds over the last few months and I'd guess
Mike has been mainly to thank for that...

I'd like to see this a lot. I don't know how it'd work though.
I like the Source Forge model a lot, maybe it could work like / use that?

My concern would be the 'many people' bit. There'd needs to be some vetting process for write
access, and more importantly, someone needs to keep overall control of the project as Mike was.
I guess DC as a whole would be the best candidates for this; you know the source and you know where
you want the project to go.

That said, the project has always fascinated me and the company I work for, although we haven't
managed to get involved yet. If push really came to shove, we might be able to take on the
'overseer' (or in Python terms, the 'benign dictator' role ;-) and throw some resource at the
development aspect...

I suspect a lot more discussion from the PTK community will come first...
