The essential interfaces are almost complete.

A default implementation of all seven tools has been created and
derivatives are being built for PTKDemo.  PTKDemo is also being updated
to make use of the new tools.

Note that PTK 0.8.2 does not have any of the new architecture and the
changes aren't in CVS yet.  If only we had CVS branches available...
