[Zope-PTK] Testing frameworks for Zope (RE: [Zope-PTK] Importing DemoPortal.zexp)

This seems to be a bug introduced into Zope 2 a week or so ago. I had
this problem with the newest release of Zope, but when I checked out a
version from early August the problem went away. I'm running this older
version until the problem is fixed. I remember seeing some bug fixes
related to Zclasses inside of Zclasses; they may have been the cause?

Btw, I've been reading up on Extreme Programming, and we have decided to
adopt variation of the XUP (Extreme Unified Process) in our company.
This would mean we have to find ways of doing unit and functional tests
in Zope. Has anyone any experience doing this? I can see great
potential to increase the quality of Zope this way, and it's almost a
necessity when you consider DC wants to give the community more access
to the source. The problem seems that you can program at so many
different levels in Zope that you'd need several testing frameworks,
plus that you'd have to deal with a database, of course.

Bye,

Subject: [Zope-PTK] Importing DemoPortal.zexp

I was trying to import DemoPortal.zexp after PTKbase and PTKdemo were
working...
I got an "Permission mapping error" while importing the DemoPortal.zexp
file.

This is version 0.8.2 downloaded from the zope.org site.

Anyone?

regards

Do not meddle in the affairs of programmers, for they are easy to annoy,
and have all the source code!!!
