[Zope-PTK] Customizing ZOPE/PTK

Hi,
I am trying to add some additional functionality to the ZOPE/PTK Demoportal.

Here is what I would like to do:
When a user creates a document, file, link or news item he should be able to
choose the folder or category under which they appear.  Right now the
Demoportal only allows you to create a document and submit it for review.

Could someone give me a few pointers or atleast point me to some
documentation?  I am really desperate and would appreciate some help.
