[Zope-PTK] user property sheet status

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if someone could give an update on the progress of
implementing property sheets for users. This is something that I'd like to
have for my site, and I'd be willing to mess with it a bit to help someone
get it going.

I was reading Jakob Nielsen's latest book about designing Web sites for
maximum usability (good read, ISBN 156205810X), and he was suggesting that
it wasn't a good idea from a user's perspective to have people's names
linked using a "mailto:" tag. As you know, unless the user's browser is
configured properly for email, clicking on a "mailto:" doesn't do much.
Instead he suggests that clicking on a link for someone's name should take
you to a "biography" page that would provide contact information, other
details, and "mailto:" links.

This approach makes sense to me. I'd love to have people be able to provide
a picture of themselves, curriculum vitae, etc., on a consistently formatted
page. Couldn't this "bio" information be stored in a property sheet that
could be attached to each user?
