Hi George,
Me again. Thanks for your patience. I think I am not explaining myself very
well. I am not a Plone/CMF site User. I am supposed to be the Administrator
of the site!. So I need to provide my users with a Welcome Page where they
can find Links that guide to information inside the site.

In the Plone official site : http://plone.org/ you can see how they
include links in the welcome page that allow to know another information
but inside the site (maintaining the skin). Example: "development section"
link guides to a section where you can find more information and so on...

How can I reproduce this in my site?

Thanks again
Mariela

you should be able to add <dtml-var standard_html_header> at the top and
<dtml-var standard_html_footer> at the bottom of any given DTML Document
and
this will give you what you want.

But this is not an effective way to use zope, cmf or plone.

Frankly I haven't used Plone much, but with CMF you go to the link to "My
Stuff" which should be near where your username appears on the page
indicating that you are logged in. This takes you to a listing of the
objects in your Members folder. click on the "New ..." button and you will
get a menu of objects to add.

You might want to join the cmf.zope.org site and play around with it, then
try CMF, and then finally try Plone.

Feel free to email me any more questions.
