[Zope-CMF] problem with plone and new workflow

Hi there,
I try to create a workflow that checks some condition before I allow to s=
=3D
ubmit=3D20
a document.
The script to be called in the transition is called checkTransition.

Now when I try to change the state to pending I get a tracebackr:

can anybody give me a hint where to look for a reason. I understand that =
=3D
the=3D20
plone navigation only kicks in after the transition??
