[Zope-CMF] [Plone-users] Custom index_html page template for folders in plone

Hi,

I have am implementing my first plone site. (I have done a couple CMF ones
before). The main reasons are that the UI for editing objects is a little bit
nicer and more consistent (i.e. less work for me to make it easy for non
techies to use).

Anyway on some of the sections of the site they just add documents and images.
and i have made a generic way to navigate around etc. On other sections they
add other types and have requested specific layouts. So I have built custom
index_html page templates for those sections.

They work fine when someone is logged in but they need to work for anonymous.
(this site is a public site in general I just use plone/cmf to enable the users
to update content). If you are logged out and you go to the folder you are
asked to log in.

I have checked the permissions and explictly tried setting View, access
contents etc on the page templates but nothing has worked.

I have even tried using Skinned Folder because that seems to be its exact
purpose but that didn't help either (although I may not have used this
correctly, I just put the index_html page template in the folder like all the
others is this right?)

Anyone had something similar?

Cheers,
Pete
