I can't see how this makes upgrading from an old CMF release more 
difficult. The method names are the same as before: folder_contents is 
still folder_contents, index_html still index_html. Just the type changed.

If you customized templates, you have a good chance they still work 
because the scripts used by them still exist in the dtml layers.

If you customized scripts that are called by one of these templates, you 
are lost anyway. This has nothing to do with the renamings.


Upgrading from CVS HEAD checkouts might be more difficult, but that's 
your risk if you use HEAD.
