The 1.4.8 release is a maintenance release for people who don't want or 
can't upgrade to the latest stable version, CMF 1.5.0.

Since the release of 1.5.0 a lot of bugs have been fixed on the 1.5 
branch (most of them not backported to 1.4.8) and I hope we will soon 
see a 1.5.1 release as well.

This release is actually done by members of the Plone team because the 
latest stable version of Plone and the upcoming 2.1 release don't work 
with CMF 1.5.
