Oh, I'm sure when you get down to the level where all you do is use  
parts of the API, it's probably nice and easy. It's just that the way  
it is stitched into the CMF right now with the Favorites is not easy  
to discover at all and to me is highly unintuitive. That's my source  
of frustration.

It occurred to me this morning that with events in place it might be  
much more intuitive to make Favorites listen for certain events and  
update themselves if the underlying content has changed. Instead of  
using the UID mechanism.
