[Zope-CMF] [CMF2.0] Pluggable TypeInformation objects

Hi,

I am giving an internal talk about the state of Zope & friends..The CMF 2.0
release notes mention "Pluggable TypeInformation objects" as new feature.
Can someone give a short explanation what this means?
