[Zope-dev] The viability of a Zope IDE

You might want to take a look at the Pythonworks product at
www.secretlabs.com

Its still in development, but I hold great hopes for there to be some
linking between it an Zope at some point in the future. Pythonworks talks
XML-RPC, has a built-in rudimentary browser, a graphical debugger, and a
source editor for python, so bringing the two products together should be
more than possible. All that would be needed would be a source editor for
DTML, and an interface to the publishing system.

The suggestion of the crossover was put to the Pythonworks list, and the
developers responsed with the question: What would you want from a Zope IDE?
Why not drop them a note describing your vision.
