It was decided that you define the prefix for each plugin, as a 
configuration setting or that plugin. That will mean that extractor, 
authenticator and enumerator plugins with that prefix will only work 
with plugins e/a/e plugins with the same prefix.

Default will be no prexfix, meaning that all plugins will work with all 
other plugins.


For Challengers, we basically adopted the Jim/Mark suggestion, but the 
protocol was moved to be a part of the interface, (an attribute) and 
default to the plugins ID if not specified otherwise. Also, instead if 
relying on the plugins to not challenge when the protocol is wrong, PAS 
will do that checking prior to calling the plugin.
