hi I made a proposal regarding this about a week or 2 ago if you're
interested. Its in the archives of this list. There was some discussion.

The idea is to integrate the zope news box and the zope weekly news into one
process, or under one banner, in a way.

There would be a workflow for all news items. Some would get posted to the
front page as currently happens but all would appear on something like the
zope news page that you refer to.

there would be a team that would provide a voice to the news, interview
people, write case studies, summarize important threads on the mailing
lists, etc etc.

The idea is increase the flow of news and commentary about zope and the zope
community to keep everyone informed and also be a PR-ish thing.

The idea is also to make the zope weekly news something easier to do,
something that multiple people can participate in.

The idea is basically to build on the current zope news and make it
something better. zope.org is the community's site and it should have better
news and facilitate communication better. This is one way to do it.
