[Zope] IE FrontPage Express authoring vs. Netscape authoring

Netscape publishing ability works with Zope because it is based on the
HTTP standard PUT mechanism. Frontpage is not (as far as I know) based
on *any* standard therefore it probably does not work.

Note that FrontPage 2000 is claimed to use the WebDAV protocol (Zope
fully supports the WebDAV protocol) but no one knows if FP will support
the WebDAV standard or if MS will invent their own.

Subject: [Zope] IE FrontPage Express authoring vs. Netscape authoring

I see how nicely the Netscape Composer publishing functions works with
Zope from the description given in the Zope Managers Guide, but I was
wondering if there was possible for this same process to be created
using FrontPage Express as the authoring tool. I haven't looked at
FrontPage Express in some time and don't know if it even had a publish
function, but I wondered if this had been given any thought, given the
increased adoption of IE in corporations. Thanks.
