[Zope] authentication problem

hello everyone,
i'm trying to try out zope's file permission and authentication on
different users.  i think i got the roles and users to set for each file
correctly under zope manager but when i try to do "/manage" on a
specific file, netscape ask me for username/password.  i entered it in,
but i couldn't get netscape to authenticate for that user.  i added that
username/passwd to the access file and still couldn't get netscape to
authenticate.  how do i get netscape to authenticate a different userser
besides the "manager" account?

btw, i'm running zope under win95 with zope's http server
