then try (untested):
<dtml-in "PARENTS[0].objectValues(['DTML Document'])">
     <dtml-if isMenu>
        ...do stuff using <dtml-var id>...
     </dtml-if>

or 

<dtml-in "PARENTS[0].objectIds(['DTML Document'])">
