[Zope] UserDb and non-authentication

I have a UserDb at the top level of my Zope Project, and I have UserDb
set to Cookie Mode for authentication.

However, I keep getting Server type authentication requests, that always
fail, even if I use the superuser username and password that are specified
in the access file.

In reality I've been locked out of my project.

Not to be phased though I have a work around that allows the UserDb
authentication to work (2.0.0b6)

If you change line 469 of lib/python/DocumentTemplate/DT_String.py

from

md.validate=self.validate

to

md.validate=None

Then UserDb authentication will take place instead of the bogus standard
type which doesn't exist.

I don't understand why the self.validate is not referencing the correct
validation model.
