[Zope] how to set permissions on zope objects?

well, it shows up in the add objects list but it actually resides in the
products area. for it's security page there is a permissions mapping scheme
which i don't understand. which is it - a product or an object or both? i am
finding this distinction to be a bit ambiguous. maybe it's cause i just quit
smoking ;-).

Is this a product or a regular zope object? if it's a product, then the
permissions have to be
relative to whatever it is that the object does.
