This is almost certainly due to the fact that they have the digests
configured with a max size or max messages limit, _and_ as daily.
Thus you get a digest in the morning when it "fills up" and another
in the wee hours as the last of the previous days traffic.

NB 02:00 hrs is the default time for MailMan's send-digest cronjob.
