If I understand you properly, then I think you'll find the Squishdot product
perfect for experimenting with a "real" zope site. Squishdot is a product
that emulates the functionality of Slashdot. You can read about Squishdot
and download it at

Make sure you install the TinyTable product too for the full tour.

Does anybody have such a small collection of DTML pages to donate to the
