[Zope] Mailing List Archive Indexing Quality

Anyone have any idea why the archive indexes are essentially useless?

I tried searching for "acl_users" from the link available at
http://www.zope.org/Resources/MailingLists and it returned all 
76,000+ messages in the archive.

Someone suggested I try the archive at ActiveState.... it returned 
ZERO hits for "acl_users" and "nt service" (what I was looking for
in a previous thread)   (no, I didn't include the quotes in my
search term)
