I'm already running the 0.4.2 binary release. I've tried it on both a WinME
machine and a WinXP machine, with no luck.

Any other ideas?

I'm not sure if this will help, but the 0.4.1 binary
distro did not contain the ssl windows libraries, and
they are not included with a stock Python 2.2
installation either.

The 0.4.2 distro includes the ssl libraries.
